Local Events Reach a Fever Pitch
The FIFA World CupTM is a global celebration of sport and culture, and Boston is incredibly privileged to be presenting seven football matches throughout the tournament. Our city will welcome an estimated two million regional and international visitors with numerous associated local events taking place. If you are still sorting plans to cheer on your favorite athletes and show your national pride, let Garage B be your host. At our large, blank-slate venue, we’ve put on festive cultural showcases — like ¡Pa’lante!, which brought together the Latinx diaspora in Boston — as well as entertaining soccer-themed b’nai mitzvah, so we are primed to bring your vision of a public viewing event, spirited staff outing, or other community gathering to life in exciting ways. Garage B offers flexible weekday and weekend availability alongside tournament fixtures and is equipped with an in-house sound system as well as high-output power capacity to accommodate fan watch parties of up to 240 standing guests. In addition, our venue’s location at The Charles River Speedway provides the opportunity to explore and partner with international food and beverage vendors serving cuisine from competing nations like England, Germany, Belgium, Japan, Scotland, and Czechia.
Boatloads of Fun Activities
After nearly a decade, this summer also sees the return of Sail Boston®, a maritime festival that will gather a fleet of more than 50 tall ships from more than 20 countries all over the world. While the Parade of Sail will not quite make its way along the Charles River to Garage B, you can surely bring the seaside vibes to a summertime event at our venue. Nautical themes and beachy decor are popular for family celebrations as well as corporate gatherings, and our preferred catering partners can help you curate the perfect coastal New England menu to serve to your guests. Because Boston is a destination on the water, the aquatic charm does not end when the season changes. In October, Garage B’s location on Soldiers Field Road directly across from the river makes a convenient venue for events that support Head of the Charles, the world’s largest three-day regatta.
Celebrate in a Historic Setting
2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, and the whole year is filled with commemorations. Boston, being a cornerstone in the founding of our nation, will pay homage with programs and exhibits across Massachusetts, including, of course, a larger-than-life fireworks display at the nearby Charles River Esplanade. If you’ve ever considered hosting your private event or corporate outing in a historical city venue, now is the time… and Garage B is the place! Our 3,300 SF warehouse-style space was revitalized from a 1940s-era garage with attractive, contemporary finishes. The Annex, our auxiliary micro-event venue located in the upper Speedway, maintains original architectural features in the Shingle and Colonial Revival styles.
