Alyssa and Zeke maximized the potential of our venue’s flexible space by hosting both their wedding ceremony and reception indoors with colorful, funky personality true to themselves as a couple.
For this joyful summer wedding, The Wild Dahlia created bright floral arrangements in stylish tones of pinks, oranges, and blues that playfully contrasted with Garage B’s warehouse walls. These vibrant blooms donning the ceremony arch and dressing the aisle were paired with the simple elegance of natural wood Chiavari chairs, softening the venue’s overall aesthetic. The ceremony was situated and timed perfectly so that warm, natural sunlight filtered through the iconic floor-to-ceiling garage doors while the couple exchanged vows and their glowing loved ones looked on.
After the ceremony, Garage B was efficiently flipped by the staff of preferred vendor The Chef’s Table to accommodate the reception. The blank-canvas nature of our venue is primed for this type of versatile event planning, whether a couple prefers a minimalist aesthetic or to create multiple celebratory vibes throughout the evening. Additionally, working with Garage B’s preferred vendors ensures that this process is quick and orderly while wedding party photos are taken, cocktail hour occurs, or the happy couple enjoys a quiet moment for themselves. Alyssa and Zeke’s ceremony arch — with the addition of a personalized neon monogram — served as a vivid backdrop to their head table. Florals and chairs were moved to dinner tables, and a checkered dance floor installed under the ceremony seating was revealed. While renting a dance floor is not required for Garage B’s polished concrete, we love that it can complement a theme as a focal point for toasts and other special moments as well as encourage guests when it’s time to party.
The reception sparkled with the installation of one of Garage B’s favorite current wedding trends: a disco ball provided by Boston Event Lighting! The exciting dazzle that this element brings to a wedding reception is undoubtedly the reason that our team has seen it as a popular choice for decor throughout the past year and will keep guests on their feet all night long.
