Everyone wants their wedding to be personal, special, and filled with family and friends that mean the most to the couple. But what about when the most important guest is actually… the couple’s dog?
We’ve seen a lot of dog-loving couples over the years, and more than once we’ve seen beloved pups included as a design element of the wedding (see Olivia and Dylan’s wedding for their adorable dog motif.)
This was the first time, however, that a couple has actually sought out Garage B as a dog-friendly venue! Eunice and Kelvin adore their dog, Hiro, and it was imperative to have him included in their big day.
While Garage B has always been a dog-friendly venue, a recent City of Boston law change has made all of the Charles River Speedway open to dogs, making it even easier to host pets. And we are here for it!
Tips for a successful dog-friendly wedding:
- Check with the venue, particularly if you’re having your ceremony elsewhere!
- Assign someone to the role of dog sitter/chaperone for the day
- Plan in advance where your dog will be able to go for walks
- Think through all logistics for the day related to your pup
