Leah & Adam’s Sweet & Playful Wedding at Garage B

It was love at first sight for Leah and Adam when they spotted Garage B in a gallery from film wedding photographer Kadri Kärmo. The couple envisioned an intimate and fun wedding, and flexibility in planning was very important to them because they live in Los Angeles! Our blank-slate venue was able to provide the fully-customizable setting they needed to personalize their celebration, the capable staff to communicate considerations and coordinate details from a distance, and the connections with experienced vendors that ensured the big day was a dream come true.

In the months leading up to their wedding, Leah and Adam added to their booking The Annex, Garage B’s auxiliary small-scale venue located in the upper courtyard of The Charles River Speedway. This event space was utilized as a getting-ready suite for the bridal party, a backdrop for the couple’s first-look photos, a post-ceremony gathering area, and a green room for the reception performers.

Leah and Adam hosted their ceremony on the 1,700 SF patio adjacent to Garage B under a chuppah adorned with a bright and bold spilling arrangement of fresh and dried florals in pinks, oranges, and golds. The venue’s open garage-style doors enabled the couple to be surrounded by 150 family members, friends, and loved ones seated both indoors and outdoors.

The festive and hearty grazing table of hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour was provided by preferred vendor Sensational Paella Catering Company. Meanwhile, their team cooked up their namesake service nearby, allowing guests an enticing and entertaining glimpse of the large meat, seafood, and vegan buffet that awaited them for dinner.

Leah and Adam’s reception was nothing short of a joyful and memorable party, complete with a vivacious live band, glittering disco balls installed by preferred vendor James Biller Lighting Design, and a hand-painted face-in-hole photo booth. After the last song played, the couple and their guests enjoyed an afterparty down the street with our Brighton neighbors at Blondie’s.
